Pippi Beach on a Cloudy Day measures 20x20cm. It is made using artist's quality acrylic paint on stretched canvas. It can be framed, but isn't necessary. It comes with a wire across the back for hanging. 
 
Pippi Beach on a Cloudy Day is based on a pic I took from Pippi Beach in Yamba last October. I was there for an Artist in Residence program with CoastalStays and I can't wait to go back. The photo reference for this painting was snapped on a particularly gloomy day. I enjoyed a lovely long walk along the beach and was surprised that I only passed a handful of people - not what I'm used to in Sydney! 
 
This painting is different to most of my paintings due to the weather but I wanted to capture the mood as it was for me, which was still amazing despite the grey skies.
