15 x 18cm plus gorgeous natural flooded gum frame. Frame is 5.5cm deep making it perfect to stand if hanging isn't an option.
 
In October 2024, I completed an artist in residence program with Ocean Stays in Yamba which is an absolutely glorious spot on the NSW north coast. Yamba has always held a spot in my heart but I hadn't been there for over 20 years so I was utterly thrilled when asked to not only go there, but to paint it! 
 
I created a series of Yamba paintings in this size and my collectors loved them, so I decided to make some more. 
 
This painting is based on a photo I took from the balcony at our accommodation. It was a cloudy morning, there had been a bit of rain and more on the way but clearly, nothing was going to stop this keen surfer. I made a few changes like changing her swimmers from yellow to red and I'm really happy with this little painting.  I love the idea of people doing what they love and I feel this captures that, along with the untouched feel of Yamba.
 
This size painting is perfect for a small wall or part of a gallery hang and could also work on a shelf or mantel. It's a great size for gifting, too, because it's an easy size to find a home for.
