Directions at Tuross Head is a landscape piece incorporating the man-made street sign signalling drivers of a bend in the road. I love this little piece - the juxtaposition of natural and man-made but also the simplicity of the scene that, like the Post boxes, we're all so familiar with. The bright yellow of the sign, mimicking the sun, adds joy and colour to the painting.
