It's a Bit Chilly depicts a common scene at the beach or ocean pool - swimmers braving the cold water, committed to the experience despite the discomfort (or even pain?!) of that first plunge. This painting was a based on a photo I took down at Cronulla - the seas were big and the water temp was quite icy despite the sunshine. Pleased to confirm both swimmers fully committed and went under water just seconds later!
