Red Hot Mail shows an Australia Post box in Cronulla in the midday sun. I based this painting on a photo I took when I was coming home from a walk in Cronulla back in December. I saw the post box and pulled over and took some photos (yes, I looked ridiculous!) knowing it would be a cute addition to the series. I love the bright, boldness of the red of these post boxes and particularly love these older style boxes (as opposed to the newer ones that don't show the support pole underneath). 
 
This painting is another nod to the beauty in the everyday and  hope you enjoy the name ;-)
