Seven in the Morning is the newest addition to my rooftop series, capturing a different view of the same house and rooftop I've captured many times. I love the early morning sky, not yet at it's bluest and the sunlight hitting the building, creating a glow. The trees in the foreground are mostly in shadow and my favourite part of the painting is the sun catching the top of the tree on the right, framed by the windows. Such a simple scene but I make a point to look at it every morning because it's ever changing depending on the time of day.
