Stop in Surry Hills measures 20x20cm and 23x23cm including the flooded gum frame. It's made using quality artist's acrylic paint on canvas and comes ready to hang and complete with certificate of authenticity. 
 
Stop in Surry Hills is based on a photo I took in 2025 in on the corner of Waterloo and Cooper Streets in Surry Hills. Even though it's in the middle of a high-density, city-fringe area, there's still plenty of greenery, pitted against old buildings, commercial offices and residential terraces. I just enjoyed this particular view. I think the bright red stop sign amongst the trees and the drab building was interesting and it called for a painting. 
 
This painting is ready to hang but can also stand quite sturdily on a shelf / bench. It also works very well with my other new piece Jacaranda on Corea Street.
