The Corner of Box Road is 40x60cm, acrylic on Italian cotton canvas. It can be framed but doesn't need to be as the edges are painted to form part of the painting. It comes with a wire across the back for hanging. Raw oak framing is recommended, however, to finish the piece and make it sing!
 
The Corner of Box Road is a suburban streetscape that I started working on about 3 years ago! I parked it for a while when life got busy and then found it difficult to revisit, so it's been waiting patiently ever since. I recently pulled it out of hiding and was delighted to see it and felt ready to finish it. The Corner of Box Road is based on a pic I took on a morning walk back in 2022. Its fresh and sunny vibes create a real calmness, almost like a familIarity that leads to safety and happiness. I hope you love it!
