The View from Mermaid Beach SLSC measures 15 x 18cm plus gorgeous natural flooded gum frame. Frame is 5.5cm deep making it perfect to stand if hanging isn't an option. Framed size is 18 x 21cm.
 
The View from Mermaid Beach SLSC is based on a photo I took in November this year when I was on the Gold Coast visiting my mum. 
 
We went to the Mermaid Beach Surf Life Saving Club for dinner one night. We got their early enough to catch the sunset and this photo was taken just before 6pm from our table on the balcony, with a lovely view across the park to the ocean. I love working with different lighting - every time of day has a different colour and vibe and this one was a little different to many of my other recent works. 
 
Sad to say, we didn't win the raffle at the club!
 
This size painting is perfect for a small wall or part of a gallery hang and could also work on a shelf or mantel. It's a great size for gifting, too, because it's an easy size to find a home for.
