A couple of months ago, I went to Bundeena for lunch with my husband and Mum who was visiting from the Gold Coast. It had been a few years since I'd been to Bundeena and it was like a little trip back in time. Bundeena isn't far from Sydney as the crow flies but it's a bit of a drive through the national park (or can be accessed by ferry, too!) and it has a real old, "untouched" vibe to it, a real little village by the ocean. We were lucky to have a beautiful, sunny day despite the winter chill and I this painting is based on a photo I took that day. I love the way the trees and foliage frame the painting and the fluffy clouds on the horizon. 
 
The painting is made using artist quality acrylic paint on quality Italian cotton canvas. It can be framed but doesn't need to be - the edges are painted as part of the image (see photos) so it will still make an impact even without a frame. However, framing can be included for additional $320. Choose from the menu and please allow up to additional 3 weeks for framing (though I'll get it to you as quickly as I can!).
